What can you do with the Traxxas Link App?
Next generation TQi radio systems connect wirelessly to your device for easy handheld access to all your radio system's features. This eliminates the need for traditional button menus.
The TQi radio system is equipped with a wide range of adjustment and tuning features. The Traxxas Link app provides an intuitive, high-definition graphical user interface to make and save your custom settings in just seconds. Reverse a servo direction, adjust the level of Traxxas Stability Management (TSM), or fine tune the steering rate or braking percentage with just a few taps of the screen.
The TQi's Multi-Function knob can be programmed to perform a variety of different functions, such as fine tuning your steering or throttle sensitivity on the fly.
Your custom settings are recalled automatically for up to 30 models when you power on the vehicle and transmitter. There's no need to fumble with crude interfaces that require you to find and select which vehicle you want to run.
Telemetry is relayed wirelessly to your device so that while you focus on driving, a friend can keep you updated on speed, temperatures, and battery voltage, all live and in real time. Tuning adjustments can even be made while driving. Driving solo? No worries... Traxxas Link records the telemetry data for playback later.
Install the optional GPS Module 2.0 into the Telemetry Expander 2.0 (sold separately) and the Traxxas Link app delivers incredibly accurate speed results that are unaffected by factors such as gear ratio and tire spin.
The inclinometer displays your vehicle’s forward and side angles graphically as you drive with an additional readout in degrees. Learn your vehicle’s tip-over point and set the warning threshold to alert you when your vehicle is approaching its maximum angle.
If you're handing your transmitter off to someone who hasn't driven before, select Training Mode to cut the power and speed in half until the new driver is familiar with the control. Only Traxxas has it!
New Inclinometer Feature
Designed with the TRX-4 Scale and Trail Crawler in mind, the new inclinometer feature provides real-time feedback while you drive. One gauge shows the forward gradient with a separate gauge for side angle. A digital readout in degrees provides precise data to help learn the tip-over point of your vehicle. Set the warning threshold to alert you when your vehicle is nearing its maximum angle and an alarm will sound to keep you out of danger. If the vehicle exceeds 90°, the gauges will turn red to alert you to the problem. The inclinometer feature works with most Traxxas vehicles equipped with a TQi transmitter, 6511 Wireless Module, and 6533 receiver.
The Traxxas Link app integrates your Android or iOS device with the TQi transmitter to unlock the full potential of the Traxxas TQi Radio System. Gone are the clunky controls and blocky monochrome graphics of yesterday's radio systems. This powerful App gives you complete control over the operation and tuning of your Traxxas radio controlled model with an intuitive, high-definition graphical interface. Install Traxxas Link telemetry sensors on your vehicle (several models come with telemetry pre-installed), and Traxxas Link displays real-time data such as speed, RPM, temperature, and battery voltage with stunning graphics. Traxxas builds the world's fastest Ready-To-Race radio-controlled models, capable of speeds that exceed 100mph. That level of performance demands precise control. Traxxas Link gives you the tools for exacting adjustment and superior control while keeping you informed on your vehicle’s status and speed.

Traxxas Link makes it easy to learn, understand, and access the powerful tuning options built into every Traxxas TQi radio system. Control your Drive Effect settings such as steering and throttle sensitivity; steering percentage; braking strength; and throttle trim by simply touching and dragging the sliders on the screen, or enabling the Multi-Function knob on the transmitter. With Traxxas Link, everything happens live, on-the-fly, giving you instant feedback on the changes you are making. Once you have created the perfect control settings for your model, save them as a profile that you can restore later, use on another model, or share with friends. If the track conditions change, simply re-tune your Drive Effects and save them as new profile.
Traxxas Link collects and records real-time telemetry data as you drive. Some models like Unlimited Desert Racer, E-Revo, and X-Maxx supply telemetry data straight from the ESC with no additional sensors required. Other models may require additional sensors to display speed, battery voltage, RPM, and temperature. Traxxas Link automatically detects and recognizes Traxxas Link sensors for easy set up and configuration. The dashboard is fully customizable with either dial or digital readout gauges. Set threshold warnings and log maximums, minimums, or averages. Use the recording function to document your dashboard view, with sound, so that you can keep your eyes on your driving. If you forget to record, simply touch Instant Replay anytime to capture the previous minute of fun and unexpected triumphs. The recordings can be named and saved to compare, review, and share with friends.
The Model Configuration settings provide a beautifully simple, visual interface to fine tune servo adjustments such as sub-trims, endpoints, and servo reversing. Choose your servo by touching the channel icon. Model Setups can be customized to adjust for vehicle modifications such as changing the pinion gear or installing different tires. Just select the modifications from the list. Traxxas Link also gives you instant access to Training Mode, and even includes an adjustment to set how fast the model can drive in Training Mode. It's perfect when you want to quickly and easily share your vehicle with a driver who is not yet ready to experience the full speed of your vehicle.
Traxxas Link simplifies organization of your vehicle collection. The TQi radio system automatically keeps track of what vehicles it has bound to and what settings were used for each. Traxxas Link provides a visual interface to see the transmitter's model history, name the models, customize their settings, attach profiles, and lock them into memory. With Traxxas Link and the TQi radio system, there's never a need to try and remember which model in memory needs to be selected to drive. Simply choose a model and any previously bound transmitter, power them up, and start having fun. Traxxas Link recognizes the model and picks everything up right where you left off. An unlimited number of vehicles can be permanently stored. The factory settings for all Traxxas models are pre programmed so adding a new Traxxas model to your transmitter is a snap. Traxxas models factory equipped with TQi Traxxas Link receivers are detected and configured automatically.

Expand your Options
With the Telemetry Expander 2.0
The optional Telemetry Expander 2.0 and GPS Module 2.0 (sold separately) change the game by delivering precise GPS speed data to your Traxxas Link dashboard. Sealed in a rugged waterproof box, the Telemetry Expander 2.0 connects to your receiver, ESC, or to the High-Voltage Power Amplifier. Additionally, the Telemetry Expander 2.0 features additional ports for even more telemetry sensors. Add up to three additional temperature sensors and three additional voltage sensors. Get the most out of your telemetry setup with the Telemetry Expander and GPS module.
App Requirements
The Traxxas Link App is designed for use with Android and iOS devices. For device compatibility and to download the free app, please visit Google Play or the App Store. For full functionality, Traxxas Link requires a Traxxas TQi transmitter with Traxxas Link Wireless Module and a TQi receiver installed in the model. Telemetry functions may require Traxxas telemetry sensors to be installed on your model or a telemetry-equipped ESC.
